Our Experience

Richard Hall

Richard Hall is a Mechanical Engineer who has worked for over 30 years in manufacturing. His experience covers several industry sectors including motor vehicle manufacture, metal joining, tank fabrication, volume production of appliances and small pressure vessels, the storage and handling of flammable liquids, LP gas and other Dangerous Goods and control of hazardous atmospheres.

In his career he has held a number of professional engineering and management positions overseeing detailed design and development of manufacturing equipment, plant engineering and maintenance, engineering management and product design and development. He has been responsible for the development and implementation of large capital manufacturing projects.

In these roles he has been responsible for the full range of regulatory compliance issues faced by manufacturing organisations. These include operational compliance such as workplace safety, fire safety and environmental licensing, and product compliance with standards and regulations.

He has been a member of a number of Standards Australia Committees, including those preparing standards for Boilers and Pressure Vessels, Gas Cylinders, LP Gas Fuel Tanks for Motor Vehicles and the Storage and Handling of Flammable and Combustible Liquids and LP Gas.

He has been a member of the Technical Committee of the Australian Liquified Petroleum Gas Association.

He is a founding Member of the Australasian Institute of Dangerous Goods Consultants, and is currently President of that organisation.
